Wellness Weekend!

These past few months I feel much more exhausted and need for a vacation. We are still making plans for our holiday. Until then we decided to go for wellness weekend in one of the beautiful cities in Czech Republic, just 200 km from Prague. Františkovy Lázně is world renowned as a spa. This is really a place to escape everyday life, and sanctuary to which you can retreat.

These days, I am all in peplum tops. They are so flattering to my baby bump. Luckily, I am still wearing all of my old close. Week by week they are getting thither, so I am expecting to switch to full maternity close any day now. I know this will be so challenging, but I am looking forward to it :)

Have a great weekend ahead guys!

Bump!

livingoncloude05

Hi guys, I am sorry I have been totally away these past few weeks. I have to say that I wasn’t inspired to write, and a quite good reason as you can see :)

They say picture is worth a thousand words. So guys, you may notice my small bump. I am  in the middle of my pregnancy, in 20th week already to be exact. I am so happy to finally share this big news with all of you.

I have to say I am so excited to meet the little one at the end of September.

I’ll be sure to share more in the days, weeks and months to come. Hope you will be with me on this new exciting journey :)

Weekend outfit!

livingoncloude05 livingoncloude04

livingoncloude06 livingoncloude01 livingoncloude03It is officially spring as a few days ago, but these days it seems more like fall/winter here in Prague. Constant windy and rainy weather is a little too depressing, if you ask me. What is the best way to embrace this strange weather? For me, good pair of boyfriend jeans. I know I am not the expert on jeans,  wearing them so rarely. When I do, I am trying to pair it with amazing pair of heels, like these beauties from ZARA.

What I like most about these casual look is how ladylike pieces like bag and heels are balanced with casual boyfriend jeans. What do you think?

Have a great Monday people.

Floral!

livingoncloud07 livingoncloud06 livingoncloud03 livingoncloud02 livingoncloud05 livingoncloud01

Finally sun is out. That only means I am reaching for colors, especially my favorite floral prints. Maybe it is too soon, as most of the people are still wearing boots, but do I care. Of course NOT :)

I told you in a last post that I am on constant hunt for a shoes. It is my life mission definitely. For long time, I was searching for nude heels, and finally I found just the perfect pair. Nude pumps are definitely wardrobe must-have for every woman. Thanks hubby for always making my dreams come true :)

Wish you amazing day guys.

Currently Craving: Summer Shoes!

Currently Craving

As soon as the sun comes up, I am immediately searching for a new pair of shoes for spring/summer. Shoes are definitely my obsession.
Have to say that I am more fan of high heels than flats, especially classic pointy toe pumps, as you can see from my selection :)

The strangest thing is that I am not sure how many pairs I have, but always rotating just a few of my favorites. That is why I always feel like I don’t have shoes to wear. Does this happen to you?

Which pair is your favorite?

Homemade Cheese Crescent Rolls!

When I first planned to even start my blog, initially I wanted to be a blog about fashion, interior design and cooking. After few months I got caught up with almost all fashion/beauty posts, that I totally forgot about everything else. This is why, I am sharing with you one of my first recipes. Something simple that you can prepare for a breakfast treat.
DSC_0017 DSC_0025IMG_2381IMG_2392

CHEESE CRESCENT ROLLS

prep time: 30 mins + 1 hr rise            cook time: 20 mins         total time: 1 hr  50 mins

INGREDIENTS

1/2 kg of  white all-purpose flour
salt
small white yogurt
2 spoons of oil
Sesame
2 egg yolks
Yeast

For fill
: Anything you have at home. I am usually using cheese or nutella, for a sweet treat.

DIRECTIONS
1
. In a large bowl, mix flour with salt. Dissolve the fresh yeast in the warm water with tsp of sugar, and add to the flour mixture. Add yogurt, oil  and mix everything together. Cover with a clean dish towel and let it rise for about 1 hour. I usually prepare the dough night before.

2. Divide dough into 3 equal parts. On a floured surface roll each part, using a rolling pin. Using a pastry wheel cutter cut the round into  triangles. Starting with the long end, roll each piece of dough up toward the point to form a crescent and transfer to prepared baking sheet. Brush each crescent with egg yolk and top each with small amount of sesame.

3. Preheat oven to 400F (200C) degrees. Transfer baking sheet to oven and bake until golden, up to 20 minutes. Enjoy :)

I’m back guys. I had some important exams to finish, so been quite busy these past weeks. Finally I finished all, and I am back to my favorite getaway from everyday life. I have to catch up on all the reading, and all the comments. I apologize for not answering sooner :)

After few cold days, the sun finally welcomed us here in Prague. We used that perfect day to spend it in one of the most amazing places and parks in Prague. Initially didn’t think I would make blog photos there, so didn’t dress up that much. But when I saw the scenery in the park, had to snap some photos. I wanted to wear something comfy and casual. No, the pants are not casual for me :) You can never go wrong with pleated skirt and polka dot blouse for the perfect weekend outfit.
How did you guys spend your weekend?

Have a great working Monday guys :)

Polka Dot Dress!

livingoncloud04livingoncloud02livingoncloud01livingoncloud05livingoncloud06livingoncloud03

Polka dots fall under the category of classics. I am so happy that this season is one of the strongest trends. I think I have this dress for a few years now, and I am super excited I can finally can take it out for a spin. I just love how flattering is to my body and so versatile.

Usually this print is worn in the warmer months, but they are so transitional and mix so well with neutrals, like my well know camel coat. I know you already know it well, but I am just so obsessed. Please don’t judge :)

So guys, add a few polka dotted pieces into your wardrobe. It is MUST this season.

From their various types of skirts and tops, I have chosen this black plaid mini and amazing sheer blouse. I have to say immediately when I tried it, I felt like a school girl. Not necessarily the length of the skirt that I would choose for myself, but after I styled it, I loved the final look. Both of this amazing pieces are currently on SALE.

OASAP  is a budget friendly shop, that your wallet will absolutely love and approve :)

Have a great Monday guys!

Essential Products for Healthy Hair!

Livingoncloude9

In high school I had totally short hair with highlights. I was in dark metal period. After that I had red hair for few years (NO PHOTOS WILL BE SHARED :)).  I loved to experiment with my hairstyles, and I am not afraid of it. With that comes some of the side effects, which is really damaged and dry hair. After coloring, curling and ironing…my hair just said enough. I tried many products, but  through some bloggers I came across Kérastase products. Have to say at first, I was scared to invest big money on a products that will not help, because they are quite pricey.
After few times of using it I immediately saw the changes. My hair returned that previous glow.

After trying few of their products, I bought Soleil AQUA-SEAL, which is a protective spray that limits the negative effects of sun, chlorine, and salt water. Left it shiny and soft after I wash my hair. It is highly recommended to swimmers.

I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t air dry my hair. I know I should, but I am just lazy to wait, and after my hair looks dull and has no life, and always looks flat. That is why I need to protect my hair from hair dryer and curling iron heat. I came across this amazing product Framesi Thermal Protector.  It really gives that ultimate protection and  shield from  humidity. It is usually used by hairdressers.

After I blow dry my hair, I usually don’t put any heavy products to style it, except this magical Morphosis Sublimis Argan Oil. My hairdresser was using this products, and I always liked the smell and how my hair looks like few days after. You only need two drops for medium length hair, and to me the cost is well worth the final outcome. I am just in love with this product. If you haven’t tried it before, believe me you will not regret.

What products do you guys use for your hair? Please share with me.

Date Night!

livingoncloud022livingoncloud0441

livingoncloud101livingoncloud0551livingoncloud100
Oh don’t let the title trigger you of thinking we had a date night. I wish, but unfortunately I had to work the whole weekend. I know it sucks :)

I wanted to share with you outfit that I would wear for our night out to cinema and dinner.
This is probably my favorite cardigan from Goodnight Macaroon. I already shared in ones before in this post HERE, but I was wearing it with a dress. I like it so much because it is so versatile piece. You can wear it with almost everything, and this leather sleeves give it just right amount of edgy, don’t you think?

Leather skinnies became the style staple this season. If you are bored with jeans, put on your favorite pair of leather pants, simple top and ankle boots for effortless and casual look, or change it for the  date night with a blazer and killer pumps.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Mel’s Jewellery Shop!

As you have must already noticed in some of the post, most of the statement necklaces are from
Mel’s Jewellery store, which is my another hobby. I am saying hobby because I think when a hobby turns into work, you lose the joy of doing it. I wanted to write this post over and over again, but I was always leaving for after, wanted to be my little secret. These below are some of the first photos we actually took for the store in August 2014 while in Rome.

livingoncloud01livingoncloud07 livingoncloud02 livingoncloud03 livingoncloud04 livingoncloud05

All of my friends know that I always loved jewellery, especially great statement pieces, so many of them often asked, why I don’t start my small retail shop and just give it a go. That came to my mind million times, but I was scared of failure.  After few years in corporate firm and working in IT with only guys, who don’t care about beauty, fashion  like me, I wanted to start finally something I know I love, and to which I can run to after   9to5 job. After few years of soul searching, I started in August 2014 Mel’s Jewellery  retail shop. Mel’s Jewellery collaborates with one of the distribution centers for ZARA stores, just offering much more affordable and budget friendly prices. For me, jewellery truly  is a pleasure, obsession and art, and I am hoping that 2015 will bring some great changes and improvements, like our website, which is currently under construction.

Some great giveaways are coming your way with Mel’s Jewellery, so stay tuned.

So this is ME people, taking my secret passion and bring it out into the open :)

WEEKEND WISHLIST!

livvingoncloude9

As some of you already know, I am all about affordable and versatile pieces. Sometimes I am buying in thrifted stores, and I am not ashamed to admit it. I have already written before in one of the previous post HERE, about some of the least favorite parts of blogging, which is a fact, that you don’t have to wear high fashion brand clothes to be fashionable and to have your own style. This is how I found this amazing online shop, Choies. They offer affordable prices that will make your outfit look expensive.

I was on a hunt for some great midi skirts, because in general I am afraid of them, and don’t think they are flattering to all body types. Choies have one of the largest and the best choices of midi skirts, like my picks in whislist. They are both under 20$, believe it or not.

So now you know how to be a blogger on a budget. Find super affordable, budget friendly online shops, just like Choies.

Budapest II!

livingoncloud04 livingoncloud07

livingoncloud12 livingoncloud08livingoncloud10

As I promised, I am bringing you some Budapest magic and some travel tips for those who are planning to visit this beautiful city.
We stayed for four days, and it was enough for us to visit all those well-known places.

As I did similar post from Rome HERE, I am bringing you some helpful tips where to stay and what is a MUST  see while in Budapest.

Where to stay in Budapest:

After Rome, we again reserved a whole apartment for ourselves via Airbnb. We had amazing flat located in the center of the Budapest, with all city sightseeing places in walking distance.
I have to say, after using Airbnb for few times now, I would never stay in hostels/hotels ever again. I highly recommend it to everyone.

What  to see:
Here’s a list of the famous tourist attractions that you really have to visit and see.

  • Heroes’ Square
Largest and most impressive square of the city. It is located near two important buildings, Museum of Fine Arts and Hall of Art, also next to beautiful City Park, where we took or photos from previous post here. I wish we visited also during the night, because during the winter, there is huge ice rink, just next to the City Park.
  • Central Market Hall
Largest indoor market in Budapest. On the second floor, you can find clothes and souvenir stands. We actually used our time here to buy some small souvenirs and gifts.
  • Gellért Hill
This was one of my favorite places we visited. I always loved great panoramas, and this is the best place to see some amazing panoramic views of Budapest.
Budapest’s Statue of Liberty stands on top of the hill, and can be seen from all parts of the city. If you like to enjoy the breathtaking views of the city, than this is MUST see.
  • Fishermen’s Bastion
Next to the breathtaking Matthias Church (first photo), you can find the Fishermans Bastion. From the towers and the terrace there is absolutely beautiful panoramic view of Danube, Pest and  Gellért Hill. Entrance is for free, except if you want to enter the lookout at the tower, which I think is not necessary, as you have  equally beautiful view for free.
  • Váci Street
‘Váci utca’ is definitely most famous street in Budapest. It is a long street full of pubs, restaurants and shops. I recommend it only for window shopping, as most of the restaurants and souvenir shops are quite expensive.
  • Royal Palace
The Royal Palace is visible from almost everywhere in Budapest. This place is massive. Buda castle is exactly on the top of the hill, close to Fisherman Bastion. From the top  there is wonderful view to entire Budapest.
  • Budapest Parliament
Definitely one of the most beautiful architectures I have seen. This is the world’s third largest Parliament building. Stunning view during day and night. I highly recommend to take tram number 2 during the night. It will take you around Danube river, with amazing view on Fishermen’s Bastion, Gellért Hill and Parliament.
  • Chain Bridge
This is the first bridge that  connected Buda and Pest side.  It is offering one of most stunning view of the Danube river.Hope this will be helpful for all of you planning your trip to Budapest.

Have a great weekend guys  :)

Bourjois Bio-detox Organic Powder!

beauty review

After hearing so many good things about this 100 % organic powder, I had to give it a try. I have really great experience with all Bourjois products, and this one was exactly what they promised it would be.

A few years back, you could call me beauty junkie. I had so many beauty products, wouldn’t say they were quality ones. I was concentrating more on quantity than quality. After years of spending money on all bad products, I am now concentrating more on quality skin products. I can say, that I am quite lucky to have clear skin, but it can be pretty dry with red spots.

I have tried a fair share of different powders, but never found “the one” for my skin. I can proudly say, this is one product that I fell in love instantly. It has a great coverage, hides my redness and it leaves my skin soft. It is a little bit creamy, which is perfect for my dry skin. I am using it after foundation, so it is truly perfect finishing touch. Organic foundations do not contain any silicone which gives the skin that desired silky look. If you have oily skin type, maybe this is not the best match for you.

This being said, I can’t guarantee that this will be perfect product for you and your skin. You can give it a try, and who know, maybe you will be positively surprised like me :)

Thanks for reading guys. Wish you amazing Monday.

New Year In Budapest!

livingoncloud14 livingoncloud03livingoncloud05 livingoncloud06livingoncloud13livingoncloud11

I’m back! I’m alive people! After returning from our trip, I’ve caught this bad flu and I’ve been under the blankets for four days now. I still don’t feel so good, but I missed you guys, and all of your blogs. I have to catch up on all the reading.

As you know, and for those who follow me on Instagram, we have been in Budapest with our friends for the New Year. These photos were taken from our first day there. Don’t let the sun deceive you of thinking it was a warm and perfect weather. It was freezing the entire time, overnight temperatures dipped down to -15C.

As soon as I feel better, I will write a post about beautiful Budapest and some essential travel tips, if you are planning your adventure to this mesmerizing place. So stay tuned :)

Hope you guys are all well, and that beginning of the New Year brought you some great new things and new resolutions.
Did I miss something while being away? Tell me everything :)

Lipstick Jungle!

livingoncloud06

The dresses are so easy to wear and perfectly versatile piece of clothing. I am especially a fan of different patterned and printed dresses. Why? Because with perfect printed dress, you can simply add a chic pair of heels and nothing else. Pattern dresses are statement for itself, you don’t need additional accessories.

Last year we saw top brands have fun with kitschy lip prints, like this one. What I love about this dress is feminine touch it gives the entire outfit, and it is perfectly flattering to my upper curvier body :). That’s always a plus, right? :)

We are off to Budapest for a New Year’s Eve. Wish you all Happy New Year, hoping that you guys will have a new start full of joy, health and happiness.

Happy Monday :)

Working Christmas!

livingoncloud01 livingoncloud02 livingoncloud03 livingoncloud04 livingoncloud05

To most people Christmas Day is truly festival of overeating,  laying under blanked and watching  favorite Christmas movies, and overdosing on chocolate. For others(myself included), it’s just another day at work.

Working in IT sometimes has some disadvantages, like working 24/7. This means this year was my turn to work on Christmas day :(  Yeah, you heard it correctly.
Celebrating working Christmas day with much needed comfy and casual outfit.

Wish you one more time Merry Christmas. Wish you happy and healthy Holiday season.

How was your Christmas day, friends?

Holiday Look!

livingoncloud06livingoncloud09livingoncloud01 livingoncloud02 livingoncloud07

I am not sure what is about the Holidays that makes me want to wear colors, especially red. I have probably five red dresses, so initially for my Holiday look I wanted to pick one of my classics. After I saw this skirt in H&M, on discount, I fell in love immediately. I had this outfit in my head for a long time, although I wasn’t sure about the shoes. At the end, I decided to spice up my outfit, and to wear my latest pattern pumps. Is it me, or they are pretty much amazing? :)

What do you think about this look, and do you have your Holiday outfit laid out?

Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates. Wish you happy and healthy Holiday season, filled with love, laughter and friendship.

HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE: FOR SPECIAL MEN IN YOUR LIFE

Holiday gift guide for him

Don’t know about you ladies, but I always have problem finding a perfect gift for guys in general. It seems that they never need anything, or buying when they have old clothes totally ripped  :)

They are not that complicated, and most of them still feel like 15-year-old  boys :). Don’t buy only traditional gifts, go and grab some new gadget, toys, games. Believe me, they will appreciate it more than sweater. This is coming from a girl who has almost only male friends whole her life, and of course end up working in IT with guys only. Men are so different from us, especially when it comes to gifts, so ladies be original :)

Here is a mixed gift list, from those traditional, to more original and unusual ones.

Have a great weekend guys.

This weekend we have visited our friends in Vienna. We have already been a couple of times, including New Year’s Eve, so we know all about the beauties of this city. This was a first time we were there during their traditional and well known Christman markets. Let me tell you people, you have never seen so many people in one place. Punch and wooden stands attract customers with holiday treats and handcrafted goods. The Vienna Christmas Market is truly an unforgettable experience.

As of my outfit, this is currently my “Go-To” outfit. I am such a fan of leather, but never had a good pair of leather pants. When I scored these beauties, I got addicted instantly, because they are a perfect winter style staple.
They are so warm and cozy, making the outfit perfectly effortless. How come I lived for so long without them?

I am leaving best for last. I have a short love story to tell you, about this fur coat. Saw it a few months ago when fur coats just started making worldwide boom. It was quite pricey, and I just bought my camel coat, so didn’t want to get myself into the trouble :)
Finally Black Friday came and found it again in the store, 50 % OFF, only one size left, but without a belt :(
Well that of course didn’t stop me from buying it and waiting a week until I find a great belt to match it with. Sometimes you have to wait for the good things in life :)

Have a great Monday guys!

Black & White

livingoncloud06livingoncloud07livingoncloud02livingoncloud11 livingoncloud03 livingoncloud04livingoncloud01

Sometimes it is a good thing to see the world black & white.

I am a huge fan of prints, but this season there is something soothing and special about classic black & white outfit.
The monochrome looks are so easy to wear, at least for us non-supermodel types :). It makes you look immediately elegant and perfect for those days when you don’t feel like yourself.
You can always choose one statement piece, necklace or great statement scarf to spice up your monochrome outfit.

Hope you have a great Monday everyone!

The pros and cons of blogging & Friday’s Fab Favorites Co-Host

Today is a special day for me, as I’m co-hosting the Friday’s Fab Favorites linkup with amazing and so fabulous Lauren at Style Elixir.
livingoncloud08livingoncloud04 livingoncloud06 livingoncloud11 livingoncloud05livingoncloud02 livingoncloud01 livingoncloud10
For a change, I will not write about my outfit today. For a long time I want to write about the pros and cons of blogging. Not sure if you have read my post Nomination for the Liebster Award. One of the questions that I had to answer were what’s my favorite and least favorite part about blogging? Definitely my favorite part is connecting with other blogger out there, shearing the fashion tips and everyday life stories. I met so many great bloggers, and I truly hope one day I will meet them in person over a bottle of wine and share our stories.
For least favorite part of blogging, I don’t like the picture blogs in general send to other young ladies there. You don’t have to wear high fashion brand clothes to be fashionable and have style. This why I didn’t have the courage to start blogging in the first place, even I followed some of my favorite bloggers for 5 years. I was thinking if I am good enough, will I have something to offer and is someone going to judge me if I wear thrifted finds. So let me tell you if you have the same doubts: YES, YOU ARE ENOUGH. NO ONE JUDGE YOU. ONLY YOU CAN JUDGE YOURSELF.

Remember that fashion DOES NOT have anything to do with BRAND, style is something you’re born with and you have to love it.
Let me know what are your pros and cons when it comes to blogging.

Black Friday!

Black Friday is finally spreading to Europe, although it doesn’t have the same standard as in the US. We don’t have so many great deals and discounts, but I am happy that more and more shoppers are starting to understand why they are getting a deal.
I am always looking forward to Black Friday. Not only because of the great deals (my nose just got a little bigger :)), but mostly because it actually marks beginning of the holiday season. All the decor and ornaments, make the season truly sparkle.

Lazy Work Outfit!

While I was preparing  another post,  I remembered that I have one drafted post from few days back which I totally forgot(first hint: longer hair :)). If I don’t do something immediately, I will totally forgot about it and maybe remember after few years. Happens to me most of the time. Now you will ask yourself, why I don’t use some organizing app in my phone? Well I have it, I just forget about it…SIMPLE :)

livingoncloude02

This was that kind of day, that I call “D day”, when you have tough time waking up, have no clue what to wear and you have bad hair day. Usually I always know what to wear and have in my head, prepared outfit. But the other day,  I woke up and I had no idea and wasn’t prepared to thing that much :). That’s why I wore mostly black. You can never go wrong with black. Also, I usually always wear heels, but was on the feet whole day, and these are truly best flats for that busy kind of day. Amazing ZARA flats are so classy looking, modern and yet so affordable. They are unfortunately sold out, but there are similar still in the store(link below).

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating today. Wish you amazing day!

As I wrote in previous post HERE, our time spent in this small fairy tale town was truly magical. It’s definitely one of the most beautiful cities we visited. We had such a luck to have beautiful but quite chilly weather, so I was all for comfortable clothes. Comfortable for me means dresses not pants people, maybe you already noticed it :)

This outfit, especially this sweater was definitely been my go-to outfit lately. I wore it almost everyday (don’t judge :))
When you travel, the sweater is a good idea to ensure that you’re always comfortable. It is truly necessary layering during colder weather. Perfect versatile piece which you can wear with almost anything.

Do you have one piece of the clothes that you are absolutely obsessed with?

Hope you had wonderful weekend guys.

My Makeup Routine!

BeautyMakeupBlog

For a long time I wanted to write about my daily makeup routine and to share with you what products I use. I love finding some great new products. Usually when I find something that I really love, I am sticking to it and use it on repeat. Almost all of the items that you see here, I have probably used for years now, except MAC lipstick which I bought recently, and have to say…I am in love.

As for mascara, let me tell you guys that I probably tried all brands and different mascaras. I have pretty big eyelashes, which is a plus because I can probably use any kind of mascara. I found out that I don’t have to buy extremely expensive one to have the same effect. This Astor mascara gives me volume and long lashes with a slight curve, which is what they claim it does. So what else can I ask for from reasonable drug store price?

Have you ever used any of these products, what is your experience?

Mirror Mirror on the wall…

These photos were taken from our romantic getaway (Wink Wink) this weekend, beautiful town called Český Krumlov. It is a small city in the South Region of the Czech Republic, which was included to the list of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Monuments. I was always thinking that cities in general, can’t look better in person than in all those seller photos you can find on the web. As always, I was wrong, as this is the first time I was absolutely mesmerized by the city and its beauty. If you follow me on INSTAGRAM, you have already seen some of the photos I posted. Truly love at first sight.

I am so grateful for the weather these past few days here in Czech Republic, which for me means I can take my babies (heels of course :)) for maybe last walk this season. These beauties are from the Sally Herringbone collection sold in Bata. My first textile printed heels, and so surprised how they are so easy to include into my clothing and add that perfect something extra to my everyday look. Stay tuned for part II from our mini vacation :)

Have a great Monday guys.

P.S if you haven’t noticed already, I have colored and chopped my hair little bit (HELLO fall makeover :)). Thanks to my best hair stylist and amazing person Sebastian (Hair studio Framesi). If you are ever in Prague or living here, in need of change…than this is the place for you :)

Flower Dress!

livingoncloud02

livingoncloud04

livingoncloud05
livingoncloud09
livingoncloud08livingoncloud07

As I wrote in a previous post, sometimes it is quite challenging to dress for work.

If you are working in IT and with all the guys, it is 100% more difficult, as from one side I am trying to be one of them, but from the other end I want to show my feminine side too.

How many times it happened to you that you are running late, burred in clothes, better said PILES of clothes thinking ”Great! I’ve got nothing to wear”! (For me 99% of the time), especially in the mornings when my brain doesn’t work on a full mode :)
Sometimes I just go out for the black pieces, as I call it lazy outfits (more in the next posts).

Colourful print dress like this one is a good way to inject some colour into my everyday work wardrobe. It is definitely my new FAVORITE:)

Have a great weekend guys :)

Leopard Print!

livingoncloude04 livingoncloude03 livingoncloude08 livingoncloude05 livingoncloude06

For long time I was so scared of leopard print of any kind, from blouses to shoes. It always seems to be too much, to much of print, or too sexy :)
Patterned which was linked before with tacky scene of style, now is everywhere and if styled correctly, it looks absolutely amazing.

What changed my mind to finally try this fierce animal pattern, is Dolce & Gabbana dress that I saw on Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. It looked so classic and chic, yet sexy. Totally agree with the quote from D&G duo about this particular pattern: “It has always fascinated us for its sensuality and femininity, and for this reason it has become a color rather than a print.”

I was on hunt for some animal printed dress, until I stumble upon this beauty from Mohito. You can easily wear it with everything, but I decided I want to go with more of tough look, to wear a leather jacket and high boots.

What do you think of this look and animal printed clothes in general?

I hope you guys have great Monday :)

Keeping it Neutral!

livingoncloude03livingoncloude02  livingoncloude04livingoncloude01 livingoncloude05 livingoncloude06 livingoncloude07 livingoncloude08

This season, I am all about neutrals.  Black, tan, grey….they are on my list. They are perfect because they go with everything, but let’s be honest – sometimes they can get a little boring when alone, but when put together they can really make a miracle.

But as you already noticed, my favorite thing this season is (re)birth of CAMEL. It is such amazing color and so flattering to all body types. I was thinking that for my curvy body  black is color to go, but how I was wrong. Not only this, but neutral colors in general are complimenting my skin tone. If you have light skin tone like me this is one color to go with, as it makes appealing contrast against your fair skin tone.

This dress I bought last year in Promod in their fall collection, but didn’t wear it to often. That’s why now it is dress to go…work, weekends, name it. Hope you don’t mind seeing it for few other times on blog. It would be bad to put it every day as outfit of the day, wouldn’t it?

Let’s hear HOORAY to scheduled posts :)

Perfect Fall Weekend Getaway!

livingoncloude05livingoncloude10  livingoncloude11 livingoncloude08  livingoncloude06 livingoncloude03   livingoncloude01

During eight years I live in Czech Republic(Prague), I visited a lot of small cities around Prague. Personally I like small towns and cities rather than the capital, even whole my life I live in big cities. This weekend we visited Karlštejn.  Karlštejn Castle is one of the more popular destinations in the Czech Republic, most likely because it is so close to Prague(Only 30 minutes away by train).

If you are visiting Czech Republic,  I recommend taking a day trip or even an overnight trip to enjoy a different part of the Czech Republic and to see the countryside, villages and small towns outside of Prague.

As for the outfit, fall is definitely my favorite season. The leaves start to turn beautiful shades of orange, red and yellow, and so is our clothes. Sweaters in all shapes and sizes are a “must-have” this season. I don’t think you can’t go wrong with  layered look, amazing coat and some killer boots :)

Happy Monday everyone!!

Perfect pair of boyfriend jeans!

livingoncloud10livingoncloud02 livingoncloud04  livingoncloud06  livingoncloud11

livingoncloud09

People who knows me well, know that I never and I mean never was pants gal, no to trousers and especially no to jeans. Why you ask? -I can tell you immediately 10 reasons why, from they never fit quite right to they’re never the right length.

Let me now fast-forward to the present, and just go through my previous post and you will find already 3 post with me wearing pants. I have found perfect pair flattering to my body and from then on, they are constantly on repeat.

If someone would tell me few years back that I would wear so much of jeans, I would definitely say they were crazy and have some snarky comment: who in crazy mind would give so much money for jeans and especially RIPPED one?  Yeah, don’t say it twice, I know :)

After I found these great boyfriend jeans in H&M, I wear them on casual Fridays at work, weekends, date nights, just everywhere.
Boyfriend jeans are easily one of favorite trends to have emerged in the last few years. Easy to wear and so chic when styled with the right pieces and accessories.

Have you got your boyfriend jeans, yet?

Dress Code

livingoncloud02 livingoncloude01 livingoncloude03 livingoncloude04 livingoncloude05 livingoncloude06 livingoncloude07

We have quite strict dress code in our company. From one side, I am loving it, cause it makes me dress up every day, and from another hand it is quite challenging not to dress every day something black. Don’t get me wrong, I love black. Not love, I adore black clothes.

Just because of my crazy obsession, I  made myself a mental note, not to wear ALL black to work. Of course I don’t stick to it always, because when is rainy outside, my brain doesn’t work on 100%(like it ever does :)),  and I take first black dress in my closet. (how much black dresses girl should have? ). If your answer is infinite, you are on the right place :)

Let’s get back to this red dress. I bought it last year in M&S, and from then it is on repeat. You can’t see it on photos above, but this dress has on both sides zippers,  and back side is little longer then front. This makes it so transitional, as I can easily change it from work to date night look with just adding leather jacket, which I wear most of the time.
Living on Cloud 9 with this outfit is one step away of being featured on  People Magazine. You can read more about it HERE.

Tell me, does your company have dress code? If yes, do you find it challenging?

Peplum Magic

livingoncloude07 livingoncloude06  livingoncloude05 livingoncloud02 livingoncloud01 livingoncloud10 livingoncloude09 livingoncloude08

I have been always afraid of peplum. Peplum dresses, tops. Not quite sure why. Probably I was thinking that it fits to particular body type, and that for some reason in not complementary to mine, because my upper body is bigger than my lower body. But than just for fun I tried this peplum top and I was so positively surprised that, it doesn’t just fits really perfectly but it also seems like minimizing top. I know I know, it is all in my head :)

It truly emphasize curves and gives you a that slimming affect, and at the same time gives illusion of curves to those without.  If this is not magic, I don’t know what is :)

What I always liked about peplum tops is variety of styles that you can wear it with. Throw it on for work with pencil skirt and pumps , or wear it for a date night out with jeans and essential statement necklaces or earrings.

So ladies, embrace the peplum, don’t fear it.

As I promised in last post, I am bringing you some travel tips for all of you heading to Rome. It has been almost a month, but for me it seems so surreal. There are so many places to see and visit, so if you are planing just to go there for a weekend, don’t bother :)
Initially when we planed our trip to Rome, we wanted to visit Florence as well. It has been my dream place to see for long time. After seeing Rome for first two days, we found out that it is impossible to see everything in just 3 days and to go to Florence as well. So Florence will have to stay my dream for now and reason to go back soon.

If its your first trip to Rome and you are landing at Leonardo da Vinci(Fiumicino Airport), I highly recommend to buy online bus ticket, which will take you to main Termini Station. We bought ticket online with  company Terravision. It is super cheep, only 4 Euro one way. From Termini station, you can after take metro to everywhere you need. Metro is quite simple and cheep. One way ticket is 1,5 Euro.

Where to stay in Rome:
After few days of checking different hostels/hotels, I stumble upon Airbnb, where I found great apartment located only 4 metro stations from city center. I was positively supriced that price for whole apartment was less than hostel/hotel and you have whole apartment for yourself. After this experience, will definitely be using it for the future trips :)

What  to see:
Here’s a list of the famous tourist attractions that you really have to see, at least for first time visitors.

  • The Colosseum
Colosseum is must see in Rome. We visited it during our first day in Rome. We didn’t get inside, but If you do want to go in, the ticket is combined with the Forum Romanum and the Palatine Hill (priced at €12). Next time I will definitely take the night tour, as I heard it’s much better.
  • The Forum Romanum and Palatine Hill
One word guys: BREATHTAKING.  It was for centuries the center of Roman public life: the venue for public speeches and famous gladiatorial matches. Located in the small valley between the Palatine and Capitoline Hills, the Forum today is a architectural and historical ruin, attracting millions of tourists yearly. True heart of ancient Rome.
  • The Vatican City
As I mentioned in previouse post HERE, It really is a place everyone should visit, regardless if you are religious or not.
  • The Trevi Fountain
Fountain which I saw in so many movies and was so eager to see, but was so disappointed to see it under complete reconstruction.  Even we didn’t have a chance to throw a coin into the water, I truly hope we will return there one day to do so.
  • The Pantheon
We visited it second day after searching for it for a while. It is located between little hidden streets. Such incredible place , you would never think it is 2000 years old. The interior is breathtaking. There was no entrance fee so that’s a plus :)
  • The Spanish Steps
I really can’t describe why, but this is my favorite spot in Rome. Maybe because I saw it so many times in different TV shows, movies. Not sure, but I know that I just loved it. 138 stairs  between the Piazza di Spagna e and Piazza Trinità dei Monti, with the church Trinità dei Monti above, which was also under total reconstruction at the time we were there. At the top of the Spanish Steps you will find a different artists painting visitors portraits and caricatures. I could sit there for ages, have my Gelato and realize  how life is simply beautiful.

Arrivederci Roma. Until the next time :)

We started our second day in Vatican City. We didn’t go inside of St. Peter’s Basilica as we didn’t have patient like others to wait for few hours in line. We are typical Balkans, patience is not our virtue :)

We still had change to go walk around whole St. Peter’s Square. It is really mesmerizing place and MUST see. I was surprised that during the day there were so many people there, but so peaceful and breathtaking. It really is a place everyone should visit, regardless if you are religious or not.

Rome is famous for all its public spaces where people can sit, eat Gelato (Famous Italian ice cream)  and just be tranquil. If there are steps or stairs you’ll likely see someone sitting on them. From Spanish Steps to Piazza del Popolo you will come across designer shops and local restaurants. But if you just enter in the beautiful hidden streets in between, you will find great food and even better coffee places, which for us coffee addicts its more crucial :)

In next post I will write some great tips where to stay and travel guide what to see in Rome. Stay tuned!
